Orus Docs: Trade Your Farao Account from Any AI
Everything you need to connect Orus — WhatsApp, Telegram, Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok — and what it can and cannot do with your account.

Orus puts a real Farao trading account inside WhatsApp, Telegram, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and any MCP-compatible client. This page covers setup, what Orus can do, how trades get confirmed, and what to check when something doesn't work.
Overview
Orus is a remote MCP server that gives your agent two things: market research tools and scoped trading capabilities on your Farao account. Your funds sit in your own self-custodial wallet, and every connected session is visible — and revocable — from the Farao app.
Connecting Orus
- Open the Orus chat from the link on getfarao.com/orus.
- Say hi — Orus replies with a link to approve access from the Farao app.
- Approve, and the chat becomes your trading desk.
Telegram
- Start the Orus bot from the link on getfarao.com/orus.
- Send
/startand follow the link to approve access from the Farao app. - Ask for your balance to confirm the session is live.
Claude
- Copy the server URL:
https://orus.getfarao.com/mcp - Open Claude's custom connector dialog from the Open in Claude button on the Orus page — the name and URL come pre-filled. If not, enter Orus and paste the URL under Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Tap Add to save the connector.
- Tap Connect next to the new Orus connector and approve access from the Farao app.
Using Claude Code? One command does it:
claude mcp add --transport http orus https://orus.getfarao.com/mcp
ChatGPT
- ChatGPT MCP needs a Plus, Pro, Team, or Enterprise plan. Enable Developer mode under Settings → Connectors → Advanced.
- Choose Add custom connector, name it Orus, and paste
https://orus.getfarao.com/mcp. - Connect, sign in, and approve access from the Farao app.
Grok
- On grok.com, open Settings → Connectors → Add connector.
- Name it Orus and paste
https://orus.getfarao.com/mcp. - Connect, sign in, and approve access from the Farao app.
Signing in and permissions
Orus uses standard OAuth. When you connect a client, you grant it read and trade scopes on your Farao session. The connection can never:
- withdraw or transfer funds,
- change your account settings,
- extend its own permissions.
Every session shows up in the Farao app under Settings → Connected apps with its own PnL, volume, and trade count. Revoke any session there and its token is invalidated immediately.
What Orus can do
Research and analysis. Live prices, positioning, funding rates, volume, and news across every Farao market — asked and answered in plain language.
Portfolio. Balance, open positions, pending orders, recent fills, and per-session performance.
Trading. Open longs and shorts, set take-profit and stop-loss levels, and close or resize positions through your connected Farao session.
How trades are confirmed
When your agent proposes a trade, Orus shows the full order — symbol, direction, size, leverage, margin, entry, and liquidation price — before anything executes. Sessions run in one of two modes, chosen when you approve them from the Farao app:
- Manual — every order needs your explicit confirmation.
- Autonomous — the session trades inside the limits you set: max size per trade, max leverage, and a daily cap.
Either way, every write action is traceable back to the user, grant, request, and order that produced it.
Markets you can trade
The same universe as the Farao app: 100+ markets across crypto perps like BTC, ETH, and SOL; tokenized stocks like Tesla, Apple, and Nvidia; commodities like gold, silver, and oil; indexes; FX; and pre-IPO names.
Fees and limits
Orus itself is free — no subscription, no AI surcharge, no markup in the spread. Standard Farao trading fees apply to the orders you place, the same as trading in the app directly.
Troubleshooting
The connector won't add. Check the URL is exactly https://orus.getfarao.com/mcp and that your client supports remote MCP servers over HTTP.
Connected but tools don't show up. Start a fresh conversation — most clients only load tools at the start of a chat. In Claude, also check the connector is enabled for the current chat.
"Approve from Farao" never arrives. Open the Farao app manually and look under Settings → Connected apps — pending grants show at the top.
Trading actions fail. Make sure the session's mode and limits allow the order: a Manual session waits for your confirmation, and an Autonomous session rejects orders above the caps you set.
